Bats

These are highly beneficial animals that can consume many insects over the course of a night. They are known carriers of rabies but the percentage is extremely low and cases of people being bitten are even lower.  Like rodents, bats can fit into small cracks and crevices which make entry point detection difficult. However, their droppings and noises are dead giveaways. Bat guano is very similar to rodent droppings but about twice the size. Keep an eye out around dusk and you should be able to spot some bats leaving their roosting site to forage for food.
